Zachariah is a freshman at Pinnacle High School. He began studying the cello at the age of eight and a half at SOUNDS Academy. Since 2024, he has studied with Jamie Kellogg.

As a soloist, Zachariah has earned numerous awards and recognitions. He received first prizes at the 2025 MTNA Arizona State Junior String Competition, the 2025 Arizona Musicfest Young Musician String Competition (Division I), the 2025 Arizona Cello Society Competition (Junior Division), the 2025 Dorothy Vanek Youth Concerto Competition (Junior Division), and the 65th and 66th Phoenix Youth Symphony Young Musician Concerto Competition (Lower Strings Junior Division), and the 2023 Tucson Cello Congress Young Artist Competition. 

Most recently, Zachariah received a Special Prize at the 2026 Dorothy Vanek Youth Concerto Competition, which led to his concerto debut as soloist with the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra in April 2026, performing Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85.

Since 2025, Zachariah has been a member of the Phoenix Youth Symphony's top orchestra. In 2026, he participated in the Paradise Valley Unified School District Honor Festival Orchestra, where he served as principal cellist and performed the featured principal solo.

During the summers, Zachariah enjoys participating in music festivals and intensive training programs. His festival experiences include the 2026 Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, the 2025 Luzerne Music Summer Camp, the 2024 YOLA National Festival, and the 2024 Tetra Chamber Music Institute Summer Workshop. At Green Mountain, Zachariah was selected to perform entire Elgar Concerto at the Emerging Artist Concert of the Festival and at Luzerne Music, he served as principal cellist and played the orchestral solo part. 

In addition to his passion for music, Zachariah enjoys chamber music, exploring new repertoire, and collaborating with fellow young musicians.
