Volunteer with B2M
At Bridge to Music, every note matters––
and every student does too.
Our student volunteers bring free, live music performances to senior living communities across the Valley by sharing a wide range of talents. Whether you're performing, creating artwork, helping collect instruments, capturing photos and videos, editing concert footage, assisting with logistics, or supporting behind the scenes, there's a place for you to make every concert meaningful and memorable.
Joining Bridge to Music is an opportunity to:
♬ Perform and share your music with the community
♬ Support concerts through logistics, photography,
videography, or video editing
♬ Create artwork for our audience keepsakes
♬ Help collect and donate gently used instruments to children
in need
♬ Develop leadership, teamwork, and service skills while
making a meaningful impact through music
♬ Connect with others and make a real impact through music

Volunteer FAQs
Still have questions? Take a look at some of our FAQs or email us at bridgetomusic.az@gmail.com.
If, and when, you’re feeling ready, we encourage you to join us!
-
Most of our volunteers are high school students, but anyone ages 13 through college—even graduate students—who is currently a student and loves serving the community through music and art is welcome to join us! Volunteers younger than 13 may join our events by invitation.
-
Not at all! While most of our volunteers are musicians, we welcome any student who wants to contribute creatively or help behind the scenes to support our mission in different ways.
-
Our volunteers can:
Perform by playing instruments or singing at our concerts for senior living communities and other outreach events.
Design artwork for our bookmarks that we share with the communities we serve.
Helping out behind the scenes at our events such as taking and editing pictures and videos, setting up the stage and equipment, and other logistical matters.
Support causes by helping collect and repair gently used instruments for our donation drives.
-
We look for volunteers who are kind, inclusive, and community-centered team players—those who care about others and find joy in serving together.
-
There is no specific time commitment for individual volunteers—you can volunteer as much as your schedule allows. However, if you are participating in a concert series, we ask that you stay for the entire duration of that concert to support your fellow musicians and help with the event. A typical concert call time is about 30 minutes before the performance, and concerts usually run for approximately one hour.
-
Bridge to Music hosts between 12–15 events per year, and volunteers can sign-up to participate for as many or as few as their schedule and interests allow.
