Creative Projects

While our mission is rooted in music, we embrace the arts in all their forms.

On December 23, 2023, we hosted our first major concert series, Merry Melodies Christmas Concerts. In the spirit of the giving season, our founding officers came together to handcraft Santa yarn ornaments, which were shared with senior residents  after our concerts to spread the holiday cheer.

A collection of Christmas-themed pom pom garlands and yarn skeins on a wooden surface. The garlands have small knit hats with pom poms, featuring red, white, and green colors.

Since then, we launched our newest initiative: Creative Projects. Our Creative Projects invite volunteers to design and create handmade gifts for senior residents at our Performance Series events. Led by our Creative Director, each craft is thoughtfully planned and prepared by our dedicated creative volunteers and personally delivered during our performance series, giving residents a meaningful keepsake to remember the concert experience. From ornaments and coasters to pins and suncatchers, we love exploring new ideas to spread the love of Bridge to Music.

If music isn’t your forte but you love arts and crafts and want to support our mission, we invite you to fill out the interest form below to join our Creative Projects team. Students, musicians, and non-musicians alike are welcome and encouraged to participate. Crafts can be made asynchronously outside of concert dates and are eligible for volunteer hours.
