FOUNDER, BOARD CHAIR

Yuna Kang

Yuna is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Case Western Reserve University, where she studies Psychology and Sociology on the pre-law track, with minors in Music and Japanese.

She began studying piano and violin at the age of ten, studying piano with Snezana Krstic and violin with Ikuko Whitehouse. She continues her musical journey at CWRU as a collaborative pianist through the university’s joint programming with the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with CIM faculty and performing chamber music in various ensembles.

In 2020, she co-founded Bridge to Music with her brothers with the goal of giving back to the community that made her own musical education possible. Since then, she has helped grow Bridge to Music into a network of students, mentors, and musicians dedicated to expanding access to music education, and she currently serves as the organization’s Board Chair.

Outside of music, Yuna remains deeply involved in advocacy and service. She has been a competing member of the CWRU Mock Trial team since 2022, garnering several team and individual awards, and currently serves on the executive board as a Tournament Director. She is also a campus tour guide and a Spartan Ambassador, mentoring under-resourced, first-generation high school students through the college admissions process.

Throughout 2025, Yuna has also volunteered and interned with the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, working in the Economic Justice Group to support vulnerable communities. She remains passionate about using music, education, and advocacy as tools for community empowerment.
