Emily Chen, a high school junior, began her musical journey at the age of four. Throughout her subsequent years, she developed a deeper appreciation for music from her piano teacher, Ms. Snezana Krstic.

She enjoys performing with fellow musicians in various senior communities throughout the greater Phoenix area. She also actively participates in summer piano festivals and competitions. Emily has earned first prize at the 2025 Arizona Musicfest Piano Competition and the 2025 AD LIBITUM International Piano Competition, where she also received five additional awards, including the 2025 Pianist of the Year honor.

Emily is an active participant in music festivals and masterclasses and has had the privilege of studying with distinguished artists such as Aviram Reichert, Silvan Negruțiu, Kirill Gliadkovsky, and Elisabeth Pridonoff.

Besides piano, Emily enjoys traveling, painting, studying East Asian languages, learning about world cultures, and spending time with family. She is grateful to be part of the wonderful Bridge to Music community and loves listening to all the talented musicians at every concert!
